Head Chef, Restaurant SW London up to £55k
Fantastic opportunity for a passionate, creative and enthusiastic Head Chef to have an instrumental part of this new restaurant based in a vibrant part of South West London.
Focusing on fine dining, this 35 cover restaurant will produce incredible food based around modern British cuisine but taking other flavours onboard - for the chef, this is a real chance to be creative with menus and food.
As the Head Chef, you will be
- Creating menus and dishes using seasonal ingredients and produce
- Work with the management to set up and develop the restaurant
- Manage the running of the kitchen and all things food related
- Ensure compliance and due diligence is completed
- Produce outstanding food with flair and the wow factor
Opening hours will be Tuesday to Thursday 3pm - 10pm; Friday 3pm - 11pm; Saturday 11am - 11pm
Working hours are approx. 42 hours per week.
As a candidate, you will
- be strong Sous or Head Chef with a proven career history
- have rosette experience as well as a fine dining background
- passionate about food and ingredients with an eye for detail and presentation
- able to communicate well and manage the kitchen operation
- be financially astute as well as understand the restaurant environment
- have flexibility and able to o work under pressure with a calm manner
