Quick Staff UK is pleased to be working with a leading established manufacturing organisation based in the Aberdare area. On their behalf, we are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager. This role is key to sales and manufacturing processes and the successful candidate will have formidable product management and critical path planning skills which will be utilized throughout the product lifecycle for key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage all product detail throughout the full lifecycle.
- Assess products/projects with colleagues to see where issues may arise and put together a project plan before any costing, purchasing or pricing is carried out.
- Work closely with the Design Manager to translate customer briefs and trends into targeted and on time product line development.
- Use customer and product knowledge to liaise internally and externally to help build the right customer offer.
- Understand both our client's and their suppliers’ manufacturing capabilities, lead times and processes to ensure product is attainable at budget set.
- Analyse internal sales data, customer data, insight, commercial knowledge and company P&Ls.
- Be confident visualising and understanding the full 360 product solution.
- Make sure all product data and specifications are clear and fully encompass the product whether that be for UK or overseas manufacture.
- Keep up to date with latest innovation, trends and capabilities to grow business, reduce costs and keep customer ranges current.
- Develop and manage critical date paths for each project.
- Manage the total product including packaging and labelling.
- Problem solve for any challenges that arise through the product lifecycle.
Key Requirements:
- Be able to manage multiple projects, customers, priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work as part of a team across multiple departments and business units.
- Strong administrative skills, including high skill level in excel and word.
- Ability to create product specifications with assistance and input from production team members.
- Must be able to manage tight deadlines, excellent multi-tasker and works well under pressure.

This role offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days office based. You will, however, be expected to work full-time in the office during peak times of the year.
