Principal People are excited to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to work for a renowned manufacturing company. The position will be based at their site in Bristol and will offer you the opportunity to develop your career within Health and Safety.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Managing Director allowing for quick decisions to be made as well as having regular interaction with the wider team onsite to maintain and emphasis a positive health and safety culture.
This role can be taken on a permanent fulltime role or as a part-time role 2/3 days a week.
Health and Safety Officer – Part Time - £35,000-£40,000 Pro Rata – Manufacturing – Bristol – ID: (phone number removed)
The appointed Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for:
Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
Improving and developing Health and Safety culture throughout the business and implementing change across the site.
Carry out regular health and safety training for the wider business.
Ensure legal compliance with Health and Safety regulations through monthly inspections and checks.
The successful candidate will possess:
Hold a NEBOSH Qualification or be studying towards one.
A desire and hunger to progress within Health and Safety.
In return the organisation is paying up to £40,000 pro rata for the part time option and £37,500 for the fulltime option. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and reputable organisation whilst gaining experience within the health and safety field.
