Mark Allen is a continuously growing media organisation, with 550 individuals across 7 offices and we are recruiting a Recruitment Sales Manager to join our welcoming team in our Herne Hill office and drive recruitment revenues on both these brands, leading and motivating a small team.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the Herne Hill office, with a starting salary of £40,000 - £45,000 DOE plus OTE of circa £12,000 plus benefits. We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported.
Nursery World and Children & Young People Now are two established, highly respected brands for the early years/childcare and children’s services sectors. Each brand comprises a nationally recognised subscription print title and resource-rich news-led website; a portfolio of conferences and exhibitions attracting the leading speakers and suppliers in their fields; and crucially, leading specialist recruitment solutions for their markets.

Experienced in managing sales staff and looking to take the next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Creatively drive recruitment sales and expand revenues beyond job postings, including employer branding and content-led solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring regular visits to foster trust and partnership.

Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative products and services to meet market needs.

Utilise job seeker data and social media to enhance recruitment marketing strategies.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the marketplace, including customer segmentation and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Organise and develop the team to align with market structure and customer needs, ensuring appropriate segmentation.

Motivate and the mentor team, using coaching skills to enhance their capabilities and performance.

Set, monitor, and review KPIs and development plans for the sales team.

Manage relationships with external suppliers for marketing, software, and training.

Analyse online traffic using Madgex and Google Analytics, collaborating with marketing to implement improvements.
