Business Development Manager – Materials Handling Equipment solutions - NORTH
Field Sales 60% account Management and account growth: 40% of the role is new business development!
Technical Sales – Manufacturing – Remote / Home-based – Get on the road across the North of the UK – sell into automotive, aerospace, automation, electronics and retail sectors.
Up to £50,000 basic salary, PLUS OTE of £15,000 - £20,000 in year 1 plus £6,000 car allowance ad annual company bonus.
START August / September.

We are looking for a proven Sales executive with experience in technical sales / manufacturing / materials handling who can win new business and develop existing customer accounts

An ambitious and driven salesperson with a proven track record of new business development and key relationship development (60%

Experience in the manufacturing / materials handling sector is desirable but not essential, this is about people management

Experience in managing a sales team

Proven track record of successful consultative sales and achieving targets.

Ability to communicate and network with people at all levels.
Role Responsibilities:

Prospect for potential new clients.

Use CRM system and market knowledge to evaluate potential target customers
-
Research and build relationships with new clients.
-
Be responsible for your own diary and movement planning
-
Majority of the working week to be on the road

Identify new markets for current and new solutions
-
Regular contact and joint visits to customers with field sales team
-
Set up meetings between client decision-makers
-
Participate in pricing the solution/service.

Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion

Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships

Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs

Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
