Health and Safety Manager
Location: Stratford upon Avon
Salary: Circa £50k - £60k
A local food manufacturing company are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team.
Health and Safety Manager – Job Role:
Manage 3 manufacturing sites in Stratford-upon-Avon and London
Manage a small Health and Safety team consisting of Health and Safety Advisors and Safety Reps
Review and update the companies HSE Policies and Procedures
Promote a positive Health and Safety culture across all sites
Undertake accident investigations
Ensure the correct PPE is being used and worn at all times
Provide HSE Training and Inductions
Conduct Safety Committee Meetings
Quality Manager – Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate MUST come from the FMCG Manufacturing Industry as a Health and Safety Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:
• Ideally hold a NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ, NVQ LEVEL 5 in Occupational Health and Safety or Similar
• Member of IOSH and working towards CMIOSH
• Experience of managing a small H&S Team
• Worked within a Food or FMCG type manufacturing background
• Strong IT Skills
• Have a hands on and pro-active approach to health and safety
