Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Consultant to join the support team of a leading ERP solutions provider, based in, Hampshire with remote working options and expections to be in the office once a month. The primary goal of this role is to resolve customer issues by offering assistance, advice, and solutions. As a Technical Support Consultant, you will be responsible for the entire incident lifecycle, proactively managing and resolving customer incidents.
As a Technical Support Consultant your responsibilities will include:
- Understand customer issues and prioritize calls based on business impact.
- Manage call lists effectively, addressing urgent issues and reprioritizing as needed.
- Record detailed information and track support calls from creation to completion.
- Resolve customer issues quickly, keeping them updated on progress.
- Own calls from logging to resolution, coordinating with colleagues and third parties.
- Document causes and solutions to assist with future similar issues
The successful Technical Support Consultant will have the following skills/experience:
- In-depth knowledge of software testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to simplify technical concepts for end users.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and continuous learning.
- It is essential that you possess the required permit, visa or immigration document to work in the UK on an unrestricted basis
