My client, a dynamic Automotive Technologies Products business, are looking to recruit an Embedded Systems Test Engineer with a strong interest and passion in pursuing a career in Automotive Technology development

As an Embedded Systems Test Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards by developing innovative testing solutions and maintaining automated testing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop testing tools, scripts, test fixtures and data analysis tools for new products
Improve and streamline existing product testing tools and processes
Collaborate closely with test engineers to meet project deadlines and requirements
Schedule and execute tests using an automated testing framework based on the Gherkin methodology
Analyse and report test results from the automated testing framework
Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation
Essential Experience Requirements:
Be qualified to Degree Level in Automotive, Motorsport, Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Strong programming skills, with experience in embedded systems, including C++ and Python
Previous experience of Product Testing, Automated Testing and Firmware Testing
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Logical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
Hold a full clean UK driving license
Desired Experience:
Exposure to GPS and Automotive-based technologies
Previous experience in Automotive or Motorsport Data Analysis
Knowledge of Testing Methodologies, Tools and Best Practices for Embedded Software and Electronic Products
