Technical Sales Manager
Location: National Role
Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 (£70,000 O.T.E)
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue and growth through the promotion and sales of technical products and services. You will oversee the entire sales process, from initial client engagement to post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. This will suit a candidate from a Materials Development, Chemical or Automotive Engineering.
You will have full autonomy of your week whilst working within a tenacious team wanting to drive sales and the business forward.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
Identify and pursue opportunities to promote technical products and services to potential clients
Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure seamless execution of sales projects
Provide technical support to clients and assist in the design validation process (DVP) and design for manufacture (DFM)
Prepare and present sales proposals, estimates, and plans to clients
Manage back-office sales operations and support functions to ensure smooth and efficient sales processes
Ideal Experience
Proven experience in technical sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
In-depth knowledge of design validation processes and design for manufacture
Ability to effectively plan and execute sales strategies
Strong technical background with the ability to provide technical support to client.
Excellent communication and negotiation skillsYou will be expected to travel to South Wales once a month to meet with the Sales Team at Head Office.
