Job Description
Claire at Amber Mace is looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead the team in providing exceptional care and support for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. This is a full-time, permanent position based near Solihull, offering a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and effective management to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards, including CQC guidelines, and maintain high standards of care.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
• Person-Centred Care: Oversee the development and implementation of person-centred care plans, ensuring that the needs and preferences of service users are met.
• Safeguarding: Promote and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures to protect the welfare of service users.
• Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with service users, families, staff, and external agencies to promote collaborative working relationships.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of services, implementing improvements where necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
• Registered Manager Qualification: Hold a relevant management qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care).
• Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding procedures, and best practices in care for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• IT Proficiency: Competent in using IT systems and software relevant to care management.
