I am delighted to be working with my client based in a village location just outside of Kettering who have an opportunity to cover a temporary period between 5th August and 20th Spetmeber 2024 for a Transport Office Administrator. For the right person the role may become permanent. However you must be able to cover the temporary period initially.
The successful candidate will need to have access to their own transport due to the location of the clients business.
The hours of work will be 8.00am - 4pm (30 mins for lunch) Monday to Friday.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Monitor daily deliveries and tracking arrival times
Responsible for handling and resolving delivery queries from customer services (internal and external) within defined time scales
Be able to prioritise a demanding workload within a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience within a Transport Administrator or Logistic Administrator role.
Some Bookkeeping experience would be advantageous
What you need to succeed:
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel)
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner
Transport industry knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
A good sense of humour
Full Driving Licence and own vehicle
