Berry recruitment has a some exciting opportunities for 2 industrial cleaners, for Monday to Friday shifts, and a Mill Assistant role (4 on 4 off revolving 12 hour day and night shifts)
Cleaning Operatives will be expected to be able to work in a manual handling environment yielding in particular large brush and dustpans and industrial hoovers (where pipes are 6 inches diameter) This is an incredibly dusty environment at all times so please bear this in mind when applying for the roles.
There will be a lot of climbing flights of stairs that are like ladders and are very steep.
Mill assistant roles are working in a manufacturing facility working with a team ensuring that the mill is fully operational at all times. Manual handling will be required. Keeping within KPIs set and ensuring that production is always underway.
Working in a production area which is generally of a warm nature. Safety boots and hi vis is needed to be worn throughout the shift.
Hygiene Operative roles - Monday to Friday 8 hours a day to be worked start time may flex around the candidate from 6 and 8 am as long as the 8 hours are worked. Pay rate is £12 per hour. Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked a week. Additional hours are available if candidates are interested.
Mill assistant roles are 06:00 - 18:00 shifts and 18:00 - 06:00 shifts, these are 4 on 4 off, first shift being days, second shift will be nights then rotating back to days again. £13.46 per hour and overtime paid at £20.19.
Progression within the company is always offered, for production operatives for the right applicants and 4 on 4 off shifts may then be on offer.
Manual Handling skills will be required, alongside verbal and written communication skills that are essential in the production side of the business for health and safety reasons.
