Our client is a leader in their field and due to business growth have a BRAND NEW role for a Legionella Risk Assessor. You will carry out Legionella Water Risk Assessments for Domestic Hot & Cold Water Systems. You will also provide technical advice when needed to other members of staff or clients. You may be asked to carry out clean & disinfections along with water sampling or other PPM’s to support the business. You will join a dynamic team with a great business ethos.
Duties and Responsibilities

Completing risk assessment write-up within a 2-3 week window from attendance on-site.

Sample submission forms to be sent to the client and office on the same day as they have been taken

Delivery of a consistent level of service, within the company standards, to the contract specification and service offer

Compliance to company policies and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH

Assisting in good H&S compliance, statutory compliance

To ensure the company is working to the correct standards set out by Legionella Control Association/L8 HSG274 Parts 1, 2 & 3 and (BS8580:-1:2019)

Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests from management

Provide written information on inspections of plant items

Convey a positive, “can do” approach to issue resolution

Safety, Health and Environmental compliance in all activities
Skills and Experience
-
Should have served an apprenticeship or follow a recognised formal training programme and have experience of working in a related industrial environment.

Should be knowledgeable in planned maintenance systems.

Must have a responsible attitude, a methodical approach to work and comply with the Company’s Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety Legislation and Statutory Requirements.

Must be able to use ladders and be capable of working at height

Must be able to develop good interpersonal relations with the client.

Organised and able to meet deadlines.

Conversant with relevant legislation and compliance issues
-
Be pro-active and able to prioritise effectively.

Experience of dealing with other risk systems or healthcare, but this is not essential as training can be given if the need arises.
