Role: Business Development Manager (SaaS)
Salary: £35-45k base + uncapped commission
Location: Remote based
Our client is a leading SaaS provider dedicated to providing training resources across multiple sectors
to contribute towards developing careers and unlocking people's potential.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help fuel the next phase of growth for the
company. Initially you will grow and develop your network to consult with clients (comprising Public
and Private sector organisations) about their SaaS solutions.
The successful candidate will be required, once fully onboarded, to form and build a sales team that
will drive further growth for this already well-established service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with new and existing accounts
- Generate sales through new business and existing business partnerships
- Account management and account growth - identifying growth and upgrade opportunities
- Attending sales meetings/demonstrations/presentations with potential and existing customers.
- Ongoing awareness of industry, market and product knowledge
- Attending any industry events as needed.
- Liaising with development, accounts, marketing, technical and customer support for new
business and existing business Installations
- Liaising with other departments to resolve customer issues.
- Sales forecasting
- Generate quotations and any accompanying documentation for existing and prospective
customers.
- Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to close.
- Submitting software modification requests on behalf of customers. About You
- New Business Development experience, selling SaaS services
- Consultative sales approach
- Excellent customer facing/service skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Direct experience in exceling in a sales team that is results orientated.
- Ability to travel nationwide
The successful applicant will have:
- This role requires somebody who has a consultive sales approach, who enjoys being in front
of customers and can be proactive with all sales initiatives.
- Experience Selling SaaS products B2B
- Experience in leading a small team would be desirable, but not essential.
