SALES DIRECTOR / MANSFIELD / EXCELLENT SALARY + BONUS (OTE £60K) & COMPANY CAR
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, driven Sales Director to join their growing team.
They are well established, privately owned, and respected and are now looking to strengthen their sales team with the addition of an experienced Sales Director to head a small team of area sales managers promoting a varied range of equipment for Textile Print and Embroidery technologies.
As the Sales Director, your responsibility will be to further develop their UK presence, and to harmonise all directions of product marketing and sales.
You will be a business development manager with excellent organisational and staff management skills who enjoys working with well-known multi-national brands and the challenges of developing new product sales directions.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Director
- Target and develop existing and new direction of sales markets.
- Support and develop a professional sales team, encouraging the team to reach sales targets.
- Assist and work with marketing and sales team to promote company branding
- Prepare and present monthly sales reports product by product Leads, sales, and conversions..
- Capitalise product profitability
- Grow the company database with qualified customers.
- Assist with marketing development
- Monitor and improve staff sales performance and customer approach.
- Develop trade shows, and product promotions, etc.
- Prepare contractual documentation
- Respond in an appropriate manner and timescale to distributor and client enquiries
- Monitor sales performance through effective account management and audits

Skills & Experience Required:
- Passionate about sales and business development with a proactive approach
- Proven sales experience within the UK market, ideally within textile decoration printing and embroidery machinery (but not essential)
- Experience of preparing and interpreting contractual documentation
- Be able to travel the UK on a regular basis
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with sales staff and clients at all levels
- Good IT skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
