Our client is a fast growing IT business with their HQ based in Edinburgh. They are looking to expand and grow their team by recruiting a Finance and Accounts Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:

Raising Complex Invoices: Manage and process complex invoices accurately and efficiently.

Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are precise and up to date.

Manage Accounting Platforms: Oversee and maintain our Xero and Dext SaaS platforms for seamless accounting and expense management.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

Expense Management: Handle and record expense transactions with precision.

Data Entry and Management: Ensure all financial data is entered accurately and kept current.

Support: Provide support to the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in an accounts role, either as an accounts assistant or accounts specialist, with a strong focus on invoicing and bank reconciliation.

Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Xero and Dext

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and financial issues effectively.
