Role: Registered Care Manager
Setting: Domiciliary plus Live in
Location: Slough
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
Salary: up to £43,000 (depending on experience) plus annual bonus

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Care Manager or Deputy Manager of a homecare/live in care service to work for one of the most prestigious and market leading Homecare providers for their branch in Slough. You will be responsible for both the homecare and live in service they provide to their clients in the surrounding areas so experience within homecare or live in care is essential.
You will have previous experience as a Registered Care Manager/Deputy Care Manager in either a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rated Homecare/Live in service with excellent CQC knowledge and experience. You will be a professional, motivated and dynamic person with great leadership and management skills with a head for business. You will have excellent standards of care and have a proven history of providing high levels of professional and quality care.
Registered Care Manager Role:
• You will have the overall responsibility for managing the office and the team
• Ensure the service is safe, compliant and provides the highest quality of care
• Recruit, train and retain the very best care and office team and ensure they provide high levels of continuity and customer satisfaction
• Ensure the records and reporting systems are maintained to ensure the effective running of the business
• Allocate resources, grow the service, work to budgets and monitor performance
• Ensure you keep up to date with latest industry practice and changes to company policies through training and personal development
• Host regular team meetings to maintain effective communication amongst the team
• Attend monthly management meetings with the central office and other branches
• Professionally and effectively manager any complaints, incidents and carry our investigations accordingly
Experience, skills and qualifications:
• Must have previous experience as a successful Registered Care Manager within a Homecare or Live in service
• Completed NVQ Level 5 or working towards this
• Have previous experience of successful CQC inspections
• Be highly organised, be able to manage different priorities and excel in leadership
• Have a flexible approach to change and be able to work calmly under pressure
• Have a real passion for care and standards
• Be driven, ambitious and business minded to continually grow the service while ensuring the reputation for providing excellent care
• Valid driving licence
• Resident in the UK and the right to work
