Regional Sales Engineer (Ventilation) - Northwest Region
Purpose of Role:
Our client is looking for a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in commercial ventilation to join their team as a Regional Sales Engineer. This role involves cultivating new and existing relationships and driving sales growth within the Northwest Region. The ideal candidate will focus on building a diverse pipeline of new and existing consultants and contractors, delivering tailored, customer-centric solutions that offer a competitive edge through product differentiation. Key sectors of focus include Education, Healthcare, Service, and Leisure.
Salary:
£35 000 - £60 000
Roles and Responsibilities:
Developing Existing Customers: Grow accounts already interacting with the company and use account planning as a way of understanding where any gaps are and what actions can be taken to further develop the user experience.
Prospecting New Business: Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Increase market share with new Mechanical consultants and M&E Contractors within the regional area.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Take ownership and involve company personnel, including support, service, sales, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
Customer Excellence: Provide the highest level of service with customer needs coming first at all stages of their journey with a clear understanding of their requirements and how the company can overcome their challenges.
Customer Journey: Offer a personalized and problem-free customer journey that provides excellence at every point of their experience, so their expectations are always exceeded. Ensure relevant technical and commercial information is always captured accurately and a proactive approach is always taken once the customer has received their quotation to further satisfy their needs.
Negotiation and Objection Handling: Gain customer commitment by handling objections and overcoming issues, so they choose to place the order with the company over competitors.
Repeat Business: Drive repeat business and customer retention to create long-lasting profitable relationships.
Sales Key Performance Indicators:
Agreed number of visits per week to the customer base.
Maintain and grow the sales pipeline.
Achieve Sales Revenue Targets.
Develop and Maintain Customer relationships.
Utilize CRM as a Sales Tool.
Requirements:
Full commercial ventilation background.
Established contacts with Mechanical contractors and Mechanical consultants.
Ability to hit the ground running.
Enhance technical understanding through building experience and knowledge of company solutions and the HVAC industry, becoming an expert in ventilation to support customer demands.
Company Communication and IT Requirements:
Provide regular updates on company CRM software in line with company expectations.
Maintain consistent notes on all live projects, including current activities and future tasks.
Load all appointments against relevant opportunities or contacts within accounts.
Ensure all information related to estimated close dates, project values, and other relevant sales data is up-to-date and accurate.
Capably use company IT equipment to access and respond to live data and instructions from line managers or directors.
Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by your Line Manager.

The position covers the Northwest region of the country.
