What you’ll be doing.
Working collaboratively with the rest of the finance team, you'll support the department's day-to-day activities, with a particular focus on the purchase ledger. This involves processing invoices and credit notes on two systems (our internal portal system and Sage), checking invoices against purchase orders, and reconciling supplier statements. You'll also assist with monitoring a busy email inbox, data cleansing, and other administrative finance duties.
Don't worry if you have no experience in this area; your apprenticeship and our in-house training will get you where you need to be.
What you’ll need.
You’ll need high accuracy and attention to detail, good planning and organisational skills, and the ability to communicate confidently verbally and in writing. You’ll be self-motivated and eager to develop the skills you’ll learn during your apprenticeship. You must also be able to commute to Exeter College one day a week for the duration of the apprenticeship.
