We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is a highly regarded and successful main contractor. They have an excellent reputation for successfully delivering construction and refurbishment services with a high level of customer satisfaction. The group have unrivalled staff retention achieved through investment and development of their employees. They hold a huge presence in London undertaking an interesting mixture of refurbishment projects that include Commercial, Education, and Local Authority contracts.
This is a rare opportunity to join one of their established teams at Senior Site Manager level. Furthermore there is a requirement for a Contracts Manager within their team and the plan is to hire a Senior Site Manager who has ambitions to make the transition. The current workload and growth plans are in place to allow it.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
As a Senior Site Manager you will have experience of managing a range of refurbishment projects from initial inception through to final hand over and final account.
Experience of having Supervisors and Resident Liaison Officer direct reports.
Overall responsibility for the performance of the contracts with the ability to produce construction phase plans, ensuring works are on schedule, on budget and sub contractors are working safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Have the ability to communicate effectively to both external clients and internal team members on the day to day progress of the project.
Be highly organised, self motivated and have excellent attention to detail to ensure that paperwork and reports are fully completed and submitted in-line with the company procedures.
