Synergi are recruiting for a Technical Manager to join one of the leading Food Manufacturers whose product is consumed across the world.
The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the management team, supporting and advising the company on food safety, integrity, legality and quality issues as well as providing general technical support for relevant activities on site.
Roles & Responsibilities as a Technical Manager:
Technical management of all aspects of Production to ensure all products are produced within specifications and are of the correct quality.
To ensure that you are aware of all the company's legal responsibilities for Health and Safety and that safe working practices are always implemented and adhered to including all your team members
Management of the FS&Q and Laboratory teams.
Monitoring, reporting and support for the Production team in delivering good quality products and expected yields.
Leads QA and QC teams
The Ideal background of a Technical Manager:
Previous experience in chemical or food industry in a head of department management capacity.
Detailed knowledge of food production processes - HACCP
Yeast knowledge and experience
Utilising Data to drive decision making
Minimum HNC or equivalent
NEBOSH qualified
