Montgomery Customs are looking for a STC 8 Weeks Data Entry Clerk to join their established team in Newtownabbey.
Duties
To act as direct point of contact for clients, ensuring that all operational, Customs requirements and enquiries are responded to on time and concluded accurately and courteously
Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Customs Administration, ensuring that all HMRC statutory regulations are adhered to by providing all the required information to the brokerage teams to complete the relevant customs declarations for movements across the Irish Sea
Ensuring that all customer queries and messages (including emails) are handled effectively and in a courteous manner by providing reliable satisfactory advice
Escalating any issues to the management team immediately to allow them to be dealt with in a timely manner
Ensuring you work as a team member such that you have effective and close working relationships with other internal teams, departments, and sites.
Sending relevant shipping information to customers and 3rd party brokerage teams
Demonstrating a team focused approach to work by working closely with your colleagues and providing support where required
Accurately submit data from spreadsheets onto the customs software
Ensure all relevant documentation has been generated and saved, and that all entries are correctly recorded on the relevant TMS system by monitoring and prioritising entries, so they are completed in a timely manner
Use of customs software such as GVMS, TSS, and PBN
Ideal Candidate

Shift Times:
Shifts will be rotational as per below:
Monday to Thursday 0800 – 1700
