Salary of the Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / BDM / Field Sales Manager: £40,000 - £50,000pa (Depending on experience) basic Plus Bonus / Commission, plus Company Vehicle
Our client requires an experienced Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / BDM / Field Sales Manager for their successful Commercial Vehicle Systems Business providing Innovative Solutions for HGVs.
This role involves Business development of all their products specialised for the HGV Industry. You will be working with products such as Tracking and Telematics, Fleet Management Software, Radar, CCTV and much more. Someone who has done Sales into the HGV industry for all telematics and trackers would really suit this role.
This Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / BDM / Field Sales Manager role would also suit someone who has done Business development in the Automotive Parts industry, Wheel and Tyre Industry, or alternatively anyone who has done BD Sales into the councils, authorities, waste industry or municipal vehicles.
This company are the market leaders in all fleet technology throughout the UK.
Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / BDM / Field Sales Manager:

·Building the market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business relationships.

·Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities.

·Cold calling potential customers and building relationships.

·Establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly.

·Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s.

·Arranging meetings with clients and carrying out product demonstrations.

·Following up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.

·Working closely with other teams to develop new business.

·Researching the market and identifying potential target customers.

·Attending industry events in order to generate business leads.

·Logging leads in an organised and traceable manner.

·Building up relationships with existing clients in order to increase current spend.

·Generating sales across all depots.

·Developing quotes and proposals.

·Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email and in person.
Skills and Qualifications of the Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / BDM / Field Sales Manager:

Two or more year’s related experience in a Business Development role

Proven track record of bringing in new business and a natural ability to drive sales

Well organised with previous experience using CRM systems
-
Excellent customer service skills with Face-to-face sales experience
-
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
-
Professional appearance and work ethic.

Ability to work well in a process driven environment

Valid Full driver license
-
Ideally have experience Selling Telematics and Trackers, alternatively someone who has done large scale business development in Automotive Parts, Wheels and Tyres, or similar.
