Business Change Lead Specialist

Rate: £450 per day (Inside IR35)
3 Month Contract
We are looking to recruit a Business Change Lead Specialist for a technology driven public sector organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring successful business communication, engagement, process adaptation, and the adoption of new solutions during my client's cloud migration project.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Engagement:
Investigate and understand business processes and activities that utilise my client's shared drives.
Facilitate the transition for business areas to effectively use SharePoint.
Support knowledge transfer and ensure the adoption of changes across various business areas and teams.
Change Management:
Develop and implement change plans in line with the Prosci Change Management methodology.
Engage with the Head of PMO and key stakeholders to drive initiatives that enhance change capability at the enterprise level.
Provide change management training for sponsors, people managers, and staff.
Promote awareness of change at all levels, including presentations to senior managers and executive committee members.
Collaboration and Improvement:
Work closely with Business Change Management colleagues and my client's central PMO to ensure alignment with project and program management.
Continuously improve change management tools, approaches, delivery activities, and communication strategies.
Identify, deliver, and measure business change activities to demonstrate their benefits to programs and projects.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification in Prosci (change management methodology).
Proven experience leading and managing business change across the entire change lifecycle.
Expertise in producing change management strategies, transition plans, and benefits realization plans.
Experience in driving people and behavioral change projects.
Strong background in working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Effective communication and influence skills with senior stakeholders, up to Executive Director level.
Experience in line management and mentoring.
Involvement in large-scale programs with significant organizational impact.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with standard office IT software applications and other relevant IT tools.
Ability to adapt and utilize Prosci tools and techniques for effective change management.
Problem-Solving and Accountability:
Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in the context of business change management.
Capability to scope and advise on best practices for business change management, including benefits management.
Skilled in stakeholder management, mapping, and planning.
Autonomous working style with the ability to present information concisely and clearly.
Accountability for coordinating business change management at an enterprise level.
