Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome who are actively looking to recruit an Estimating Assistant on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Duties will include :
Preparing and analysing quotations from suppliers
Assisting with tender submissions
Involvement with estimating tasks
Preparing project files
Dealing with order-related issues or discrepancies as needed
Performing ad-hoc administrative dutiesWhat you will need to succeed:
Previous experience with producing costings/estimates is essential
Organised, numerate and good at working under pressure
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (excel in particular)
Excellent communication skills over the phone as well as via email What you will receive in return:
