JMC Aviation are working with a component repair company based in Saffron Walden, looking to recruit a new Admin Assistant to join their team.
This client specialises in component repairs for a wide range of commercial aircraft from electrical to mechanical and interior to welding. The company offers a warm welcoming environment with a great team environment, aiding their employees in honing their skills providing outstanding customer service.
This is a Permanent Position based in Saffron Walden.
8AM – 4.30PM Monday to Friday
The Role
The purpose of the role is to regularly liaise with our Airline Partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of their airline components from arrival at our facility to their safe return. You will be responsible for regularly reviewing works progress on the workshop floor, working closely with the Engineers, Workshop Manager, Planning, Logistics and Quality to ensure service and delivery doesn’t fall behind and deadlines are met.
You will handle every aspect of managing the administration and customer service processes required to deliver end to end service to some of the biggest airline companies in the world.
Other duties involve:

Regular liaison with our Aviation Partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of airline components

Flag up any supply issues such as shortages or delays and liaise internally with the Purchasing, Planning and Engineering Team Leaders to progress works to agreed deadlines

Accurately input information into our inhouse database systems (Aerotrack)

Identify and implement processes to improve quality of service and productivity

Handle any customer service issues and complete general administrative duties

Respond to Customer questions.

Supporting team members with their roles and to provide cover with annual leave (Sales, Estimating, Purchasing)

Answering incoming/external phone calls

Ensuring on Company documents are up to date on our website.
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the Admin Assistant will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Right to live and work in the UK

A Level or equivalent
-
Ideally experience in the aero engineering sector

Ideally 2 years’ experience in an Aero engineering company

knowledge of planning, monitoring and managing workloads to achieve production targets

proficient in relevant software application
-
proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
