A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Specialist to join a UK known manufacturer in the Worcester Area!
With no day ever being the same the Supply Chain Specialist role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor KPIs
Overseeing all the inventory levels - ensuring the right amount of stock, conducting audits and minimizing excess inventory
Help to train and develop supply chain staff
Coordinating with suppliers making sure all deliveries of goods and materials are timely - negotiating prices etc
Supplier Management - building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Look at areas for process improvement - increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) - holding or working towards
5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and experience of working with supply chain management software systems e.g. ERP's, WMS, TMS etc
Strong knowledge and understanding of inventory control, forecasting and optimisation techniques
Strong knowledge of procurement processes
Excellent communication skills
