The Project
As an experienced Fit Out Manager, you will have a crucial role within the site team overseeing the fit-out packages on a £50m new build industrial development in East Yorkshire. You will oversee the fit-out process, ensuring it aligns with the client's vision and specifications, while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
SMSTS
Valid CSCS Card
First AidIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;
Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position for a leading contractor
Proven experience of working on projects within the industrial sector is highly desirable however all candidates with a demonstrated history of working in a Fit-Out Manager position on large scale developments are of interestAdditional skills;

Overseeing subcontractors
Oversee and direct fit-out teams
Ensuring health and safety on site
Handle any custom design adjustments or modifications needed during the fit-out process
Perform regular inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and the materials utilised
Recognise potential safety hazards and implement measures to address and minimise them
Create and oversee comprehensive project schedules, ensuring adherence with established timeframes
Keep precise records of all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
Ensure all fit-out works meet the required quality standards, complying with relevant regulations and building codes
Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any issues encountered
Monitor and manage the project budget, including cost estimation, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial efficiency
Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with design plans and project specifications
Supervise the execution of interior design and fit-out specifications, ensuring they align with the project's vision and client requirements
Communicate regularly with clients, providing them with progress updates, address any concerns and ensure satisfaction with fit-out works
Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the fit-out process, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timelineThis is a permanent position with an excellent salary on offer for the successful candidate.
