The Student Experience Co-ordinator role:
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated individual to take on the exciting challenge of becoming our next Student Experience Co-ordinator.
Student voice and enrichment programmes within the group are outstanding, as recognised by Ofsted in March 2020 and the successful candidate will become part of the team delivering opportunities to our learners and ensuring their voice is heard.
The role of Student Experience Co-ordinator is diverse and includes co-ordinating and delivering the College’s extensive enrichment programme which includes weekly activities as well as personal development events, fundraising and a wide range of trips including overseas and residentials opportunities. Creating exciting and engaging opportunities for learners is a key part of this role. In addition, you will also provide support to our outstanding Student Union and support the development of student voice.
Key Responsibilities of our Student Experience Co-ordinator:
Co-ordinating and providing administrative support to all student events.
Organising and co-ordinating the delivery of the colleges enrichment activities.
Raising awareness of the enrichment programme with all students.
Organising fundraising events.
Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the programme.
Supporting then college's student union and its activities as part of the enrichment programme.
Managing the communication systems including SU and Xtra social media platforms.
Liaising with and supporting college staff in the organisation of enrichment events, activities and off site visits.
Facilitating training on off site visits, activities and event management
Our ideal Student Experience Co-ordinatorshould have the below skills and experience:
5 GCSE's or equivalent including English and Maths
Experience working with a diverse range of young people
Working knowledge of the risk assessment process
The ability to communicate effectively and appropriately at all levels with staff and students; verbally and in writing
