HR and Administration Manager – Oxfordshire – circa £40,000 - £45,000 – Hybrid working & 9 day fortnight

We are currently partnered with a medical device company going through a period of growth after recent investment as they look to recruit a HR and Administration Manager. This company have substantial growth plans and the role of HR and Administration Manager is a new role reporting into the executive management team. If you are looking for a varied role then this opportunity will tick the boxes. You will be an integral part of the corporate team and have wide ranging responsibilities including HR, office management, facilities management and supporting the day to day running of the business. If you are after a hybrid role, this job is being offered with 1 day a week remote working and on a 9-day fortnight with every other Friday off.
The roles and responsibilities:
As HR and Administration Manager you will have an interesting and varied role with the following duties:

Manage HR processes, managing sickness and holidays

Ensure manager are trained in HR processes and training and development of all team members

Be the main point of contact for employee contracts and any updates

Maintain personnel files
-
Manage training plans and help create training budgets

General office management – keeping equipment maintained, phones, printers and office supplies topped up

Arrange travel for employees and support executive management with their diaries

Take ownership of the company’s data protection GDPR audit and processes
The requirements:
To be suitable for the role of HR and Administration Manager you will ideally have the following skills:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-
Previous experience in a HR type role or with some HR responsibilities
-
Strong organization skills
-
You will be computer literate with MS Word and Excel
-
You will also be well presented, personable and have a positive outlook
The package:
The successful candidate for the role of HR and Administration Manager will receive the following package:
-
Salary circa £40,000 to £45,000
-
25 days holidays plus bank holidays
-
4% pension contribution
-
Working pattern is 9 day fortnight
-
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:15pm
-
Friday week one 8:00-1pm
-
Friday week two – day off

Remote working one day a week
Location:
The role of HR and Administration Manager is based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire and is commutable from Oxford, Swindon, Abingdon and Cirencester.
