Day to Day management of National Accounts.
You will be responsible for continuous development of the account strategy and overall commercial performance.
You will be responsible for developing senior level relationships.
Liaising and negotiating with buyers to agree on supply contracts and sales forecasting.
Setting terms of trade for each account.
Conducting negotiations on promotions, prices and product quantities.
Negotiating any special requirements for distribution.
Keeping up to date and reporting on market intelligence, for own accounts and competitors.
To develop relationships with other stakeholders in the buying process.The Candidate
I am looking for a driven, hard working individual who is extremely organised and analytical as well as being fantastic at building relationships/partnerships with customers. Strong Excel knowledge is also must!
Experience managing large national retailers is essential (Ideally grocery), however toy industry experience is not essential. I am happy to consider applications from candidates with different consumer industry backgrounds for this role. Industries that might work particularly well are Gifting/nursery/homewares/electrical or entertainment.
