An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and skilled People Partner to join a public sector organisation. The role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) and is based in Birmingham within the Human Resources team.

Description
Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Managing complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, and grievances.
Overseeing the recruitment and selection process.
Supporting business needs through the development and delivery of the people strategy.
Leading the HR team in the delivery of a comprehensive HR service to the business.
Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to HR, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Reporting and metrics: providing reports on key HR metrics to assist with business decisions.
Managing and overseeing the performance management process.Profile
A successful People Partner should have:
Proven experience as an HR generalist with a strong understanding of all HR functions.
Previous experience managing employee relations caseload, project work, policy writing and advising line managers.
Excellent people management skills and the ability to lead and influence at all levels.
Strong problem-solving ability, and the capacity to make sound decisions based on data.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Job Offer
