Homeless Prevention & Assessment Team Leader ~
We are working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Catford who are looking to appoint an experienced Homeless Prevention & Assessment Team Leader
Rate of Pay - £25 - £32 per hour (negotiable on experience - Please state your desired rate)
Hours - Full Time - 35 hours per week.
Contract - 3-6 months with a view to extended into a permanent position.
Location - Catford, SE6. (Hybrid working will be on offer)
Main duties will include the following:
Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Homeless Intervention and Prevention services with a focus on homelessness prevention by actively leading and contributing to continuous improvement.
Act up for the Homelessness Intervention and Prevention Manager in their absence and to deputise in attending meetings and undertaking specific project work.
Providing guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to ensure effective and efficient cross-team work to deliver performance targets and service objectives.
Implement operational service plans, including delivery of our transformation principles of establishing early upstream homelessness prevention, driving continuous service improvement and delivery of projects.
Ensure all expenditure on temporary accommodation is carefully considered before any placement.
Take responsibility for financial efficiency for Homeless Prevention Grant.Experience/Knowledge Needed:
Local Authority / Public Sector.
