JOB PURPOSE
To manage commercial accounts, provide commercial department growth, maximise commercial project opportunities and increase project revenue to meet targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
• Manage, develop and support our existing commercial customers / new prospects with regular monthly meetings to support growth.
• Manage, develop and support existing and prospective façade management companies within London and South East
• Gain open spec enquiries for commercial projects from commercial fabricators, main contractors and consultants and liaise with the relevant people to manage these projects from leads to order intake.
• Ideally based in London / South East - for good access to the London Design Studio and the key target stakeholders based within the London area.
• Supporting customers with technical information, drawings and bespoke details in collaboration with the technical project team.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders including Marketing, Technical and the sales channels, to provide ongoing market feedback on market changes and product trends, competition and any other areas related to the company activities including:
o Market sizing
o Competitor analysis
o Real customer perspective / insight
o Cost, margin and price propositions
o Supply chain recommendations
o Technical specification and standard proposals
• Create market sector business plans and business cases in line with the business strategy and values.
• Engage with various UK and Non-UK commercial fabricators.
• Represent the company and attend industry events, networking events, seminars and trade shows that suit the business strategy and targets.
• Understand and have knowledge of the commercial project and main contractor markets
• Have a good technical knowledge of the façade industry, including cladding / SFS / Roofing segments
• Support the ASM team with smaller commercial fabricators that we may be dealing with already
• Maximise and increase customer and prospect visits into the London Design Studio, regularly hosting meetings and visits
• Management and input within the companies CRM system for all projects and customers. Aligned with the company processes and requirements for data management.
