Role: Internal Sales Executive

Overview:
We are recruiting for an Internal Sales person on behalf of a well-established Electrical Wholesaler in Hastings.
Our client is looking for someone self-motivated, with a passion for sales and who is open to learning and developing themselves.
You do not need Electrical Wholesale experience for this role, as training can be provided but ideally you will come from a similar background of working in a Merchant / Branch environment (i.e. Builders Merchant, Plumbers Merchant)

Key Responsibilities:
• Answer the telephone, taking enquiries and orders plus processing, responding to and chasing quotes and orders
• Assisting customers with quotations, product information and pricing queries
• Contact suppliers to negotiate special terms for large one-off orders or quotes
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction/loyalty
• Undertake proactive call outs to dormant account holders and seek potential new accounts
Skills/experience:
• Electrical Wholesale or other Merchant experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confident telephone manner
• Proactive approach to work
