Opus People Solutions are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer in Lowestoft.
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will ensure the highest standards of care are upheld for adults with learning disabilities.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career while maintaining a work/life balance, working 30 hours a week over 4 days, primarily during core office hours.
While specific experience in quality assurance is not required, a strong understanding of care legislation, best practices, and administrative skills (including report writing) are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all customer documentation meets required standards.
Assess customer requirements and needs, ensuring these are met within support plans and by staff.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
Write comprehensive risk assessments.
Implement effective quality assurance practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide direction, support, and guidance to team members.Requirements:
Experience working with individuals in a social care setting, including providing support to those with learning disabilities, supporting complex needs, and conducting risk assessments.
Awareness of relevant health and safety and care legislation.
Knowledge of legal requirements in health and social care.
Proficiency in IT.
RQF Level 3 Award in Health & Social Care or a similar qualification (desirable).
Valid driving license (desirable).
Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (desirable).Benefits:
