Job Title: Project Management Officer
We currently have an amazing opportunity for an Experienced Project Management Officer to join one of the North West's most successful Social Enterprise Organisations.
Overview
Position: Full-time (37 hours/week, 5 days)
Location: Hybrid (home/1 day a week in the office in Preston)
Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Pension: 10% Stakeholder after probation
Salary: £37,500 - £42,000 (based on experience)
Travel: Adhoc across Lancashire, Blackpool, Blackburn with Darwen (mileage reimbursed at 45p/mile)Organisational Relationships
Reports to: Board of Directors
Manages: Business Support Project staff and partnersPrimary Objectives
Collaborate with staff to enhance social enterprise capacity across Lancashire.
Maintain and grow our client's position in the business support ecosystem, securing future contracts.
Lead the team to achieve business support service goals while meeting operational and financial targets.
Present performance reports to the board of directors.Main Responsibilities
Manage the delivery and sustainability of business support services.
Oversee project staff development and performance.
Liaison with service contract managers and partners.
Attend strategic meetings to enhance business support standing in Lancashire.
Develop efficient management system for projects in compliance with contract and policies.
Monitor project performance, quality, and risk, ensuring compliance.
Contribute to marketing and communication efforts for projects.Key Skills & Experience
Strong business acumen and project management skills.
Highly motivated, with the ability to lead and manage workload priorities.
Proficient in handling data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
Strong ICT skills, especially in CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience in managing public/government-funded projects and writing funding applications.Teamwork & Other Duties
