We are on the lookout for a dedicated and talented Bid Assistant who will support the Bid team with various tasks, including marketing, bid writing, information gathering, events, and bid administration. This role requires the ability to work calmly under pressure, manage fluctuating workloads, and collaborate with other departments e.g. Finance, Operations, etc.
The Bid Assistant role is ideal for someone eager to develop a diverse skill set and learn from an experienced team. It offers a stepping stone to future opportunities within the team, contingent on the skills developed and the interest shown by the Bid Assistant. The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the team's tasks.
Main objectives of the role

Support the creation of marketing content including photos, videos, and written material.

Provide administrative support to the Bid team.

Support in the creation and review of tender responses.

Manage and maintain the library of tender-related information.

Create and foster relationships between key contributors to bid submissions.

Attend marketing events (e.g., resident events, conferences) as needed.

Support business development activities in line with the business strategy.

Manage personal workload and assist team members as necessary.

Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and wider teams to generate value-added content.

Supporting the Bid team with other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Stay informed about customer expectations, emerging innovations, and trends to bring fresh ideas to the company’s marketing efforts.
