Overview:
The Product Manager, Employee Share Plans, at MUFG Corporate Markets, A member of MUFG Pension & Market Services, will work and collaborate with the leadership team, to shape and implement the product strategy for employee share plans, ensuring it is aligned and disseminated across the organisation, bringing it to life in order to generate growth.
This is a hybrid role based from our Central London office, so you must be within a commutable distance to allow you to be in the office a couple of times a week with the team, enabling you to build and develop relationships with a variety of key stakeholders.

What you need:
As with any role, we want to find the right person and we want to make sure you know it’s the right role for you too. You must have:
• A strong understanding of share plans in the UK, along with demonstrable experience of working within this area of the industry and exposure to digital technologies, preferably in B2B and B2C industries
• Experience within a Product Management function, preferably within an innovative corporate
• A passion for digital products and services with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us shape new products and new business ventures, along with a desire to engage in collaborative problem solving across disciplines
• A lean and agile approach to product development and delivery, as well as classical waterfall methodologies
• A proven track record of translating strategic plans into actionable initiatives that drive growth, achieve objectives and deliver results within a complex organisation
• Strong expertise in creating and managing product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to always remain composed, diplomatic, professional, friendly and tactful
• Self-motivation, with the drive, desire and passion to take the initiative, solve problems, provide suggestions for improvements
• An ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, marketing and sales
• Demonstrable experience in all aspects of product commercialisation, including pricing, market segmentation and go-to-market strategies
It would be nice to have:
• Financial services and financial technology experience
• Experience within a consulting firm or investment bank
Day to Day, you will:
• Lead the execution of strategic initiatives, translating strategy into actionable plans to drive growth
• Conduct in-dept research on emerging opportunities, new markets, innovative products and potential acquisition targets
• Facilitate global strategy formulation sessions with the MUFG Corporate Markets Leadership Team
• Oversee the delivery of share plans functionality across both product and system builds, ensuring there is strategic alignment and efficient use or resource and maintaining project accountability by setting clear objectives to ensure a timely, quality delivery
• Implement a framework to monitor progress and manage risks in developing share plans functionality, managing client migrations to new B2B and B2C platforms, coordinating closely with customer-facing teams for a seamless transition
• Identify go-to-market strategies and apply growth hacking principles to accelerate distribution to both existing and new customers
• Collaborate with designers, developers and solution architects to create information architecture and prototype concepts, considering all aspects of commercialisation, including market segmentation, pricing, information security and building the appropriate operating model/infrastructure
• Engage regularly with clients and users to gather continuous feedback for future design and roadmap prioritisations, advocating from the customer perspective in defining the design attributes of digital and offline products or services
• Act in a pre-sales capacity, identifying client pain points and articulating how solutions can add value to their business, adjusting product and market fit when necessary to ensure alignment with customer needs and market demands
