Role Overview
As a Senior Support Worker, you will:

Be an integral part of the care team, addressing daily needs of residents

Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
-
Contribute to care planning and offer coaching to support workers
-
Maintain high standards of personal care, respect residents' dignity, and promote their independence.
Reporting To
- Home Manager
- Deputy Manager
- Nurse
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate and recognize the daily needs of residents

Conduct supervisions and appraisals
-
Contribute to care planning
-
Coach and support fellow support workers
-
Maintain high-quality personal care standards
-
Promote independence and dignity of residents.
Skills and Attributes
-
Previous experience in a senior care role
-
Strong communication and leadership skills
-
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
-
Empathetic and caring nature.
Education and Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
