Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Moorgreen Hospital, Hampshire, SO30 3JB
Job type & Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours a week, 1-2 Days Onsite and other days WFH.
Pay rate: £23.52/Hr.
Note: You'll need a car for travel across Hampshire, particularly around Moorgreen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Senior Project Manager will manage delivery of individual large-scale projects agreed through the process or a variety of small projects and significant developments recommended, prioritized by the Leadership Group, resourced and implemented through the Management Group.
- Provide support to the Technology programme of work and portfolio of projects.
- Provide advice and assistance to support adherence to project processes, using influences where necessary and ensure agreed standards are consistently applied across the programme/s.
- Provide specialist knowledge and advice on preparing and maintaining project plans, resource plans and report using specialist project planning tools in support of the project life cycle.
- Work with a range of stakeholders to agree appropriate actions from executive level to administration staff.
- In depth knowledge of practical delivery of large and complex Project(s), covering the end-to-end workflow and working practices required for the solutions to be effectively used by service Front Line End Users.
- Demonstrable experience of line managing and mentoring junior colleagues.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- PRINCE2 Foundation and/or Agile qualification experience is must.
- IT Project Management experience.
- Previous managerial experience.
- Access to own car is required due to travelling to other sites.
- Leadership competencies including analytic ability, innovation, cultural flexibility, Ability to work independently, the ability to seize complex issues and to be inspirational and informative, the ability to work in partnership.
- Excellent communicator both written and oral.
- Capable of working with directorate managers and senior colleagues within the Trust, including peers in Trust Partner and Supplier organisations along with excellent proven organisational skills, ability to work on own initiative and to use discretion in the absence of his/her manage.
This role may require you to show evidence of education to Degree level or at least 2 years relevant experience.
