Internal Dealership Sales Manager
One to One Personnel are proud to be working with our blue-chip manufacturing client looking to recruit an Internal Dealership Sales Manager.
You will be an active member of the Internal Sales team, reporting to the Retail Sales Manager within Financial Services, you will be responsible for the acquisition of new quality asset finance business, involving the development and retention of strong customer and dealer relationships for our client.
The role
Proactive development of the finance business through a structured, measurable, and tenacious approach to winning new business
Be the main point of contact, primarily, from quote to docs through to set to live
Build quality relationships with the dealer network, brands and end users to establish our client as the customer’s first choice supplier
Achieve a high level of sales success by pro-actively developing and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of new and existing dealers and end users
Explain clearly the benefits of the various finance products
Manage on a systematic basis, customer retention and renewal strategy
Negotiate with customers on specific transactions and aim to deliver what is ‘right’ for the customer and our client
Achieve business objectives by generating proactive outward and inward bound telephone sales opportunities
Prepare and submit retail finance proposals which meet the credit policies of the Company
Exercise discretion to close a deal within an agreed level of authority, referring above discretion deals
Be aware of and understand the impact of economic, political and legislative change on the Company’s business
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s products and procedures
Work closely with other Company departments to ensure that service standards to dealers and customers are not compromised
Competently use Microsoft Office software and maximise the use of such features as diary, follow up and data analysis capabilities of the system
Work as an integral part of the sales team to deliver both individual and team business targets
The candidate
Must have successful experience of delivering front-line sales and or pro-active customer service, 2/3 years minimum.
Understanding of the sales process and of the principles of service quality
Experience of indirect sales and assets
Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications or similar packages
Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with decision makers via the telephone
Sound written, numerical and well developed analytical skills
Ability to work independently, take decisions appropriately and demonstrate practical application of knowledge
A self-starter with a positive mental attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to take responsibility for own performance with a flexible and supportive approach to colleagues
A highly proactive approach couples with a high level of tenacity
The Package
Hours are Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
Working on site in Basildon with flexible hybrid working once trained
Salary up to £47,000 per annum plus benefits and bonus
Pension starting at 3% ee and 6% er (up to 9% er for a ee contribution of 6%)
25.5 days holiday + bank as basic, increasing after 5 years’ service

Sales Incentive Plan (T&Cs apply) – target payout at 10%
