Their Self Storage company needs a Customer Service Advisor– someone who is good with people able to deliver great customer service.
So what will your day look like?
Promoting rentals of storage units by competently handling telephone and in-person inquiries and providing information to customers.
Accurately managing customer accounts on our IT systems.
Collecting funds by phone and in person.
Complete daily walk through inspections, checking locks and cleaning units as needed and maintaining store health & safety and security.
Resolving any customer issues effectively and in a timely manner.
Being a responsible key-holder.
Contacting tenants for issues such as past due accounts, concerns with units, etc.
Monitoring the physical condition of the facility and report maintenance requirements.
What will you bring to the role?
Good experience in interacting with the public and providing excellent customer service.
Having a polite and respectful, listening to customers’ concerns.
Being able to learn and consistently apply company policies and procedures.
An effective communicator - including handling telephone calls efficiently and relaying messages accurately.
Able to help grow and develop the business.
Being confident able to work with minimum direct supervision.
Having a flexible approach to cope with the demands of the business.
Professional approach and appearance
Able to perform light maintenance and clean-up tasks
Good with MS Word and software systems
You must be able to drive and have your own transport.
And if you have experience in the self-storage sector that would be most welcome!
Your working week will be:
5 days per week over Monday to Saturday – only alternate Saturdays
It’s 40 hours – 8 hours a day either 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm
Some flexibility to cover holidays is also required
