Governance Administrator - Temp 3 months - £22.96 per hour - London/Hybrid
Healthcare membership organisation and trade union is seeking an experienced Governance Administrator to support their Governance Support Team at their central London offices.
This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 3-month period and will pay £22.96per hour PAYE.
The main duties of the Governance Administrator will include:
Assist with the administrative requirements of the directorate.
Organising face to face and virtual meetings of committees, including set up and operation of videoconferencing, AV, room booking and catering, and the circulation of meeting papers.
Update and input information into governance documents and spreadsheets.
Provide excellent customer service support to Council and Committee members including supporting with IT needs and organising travel and accommodation.
Diary management.
Updating project plans and linked documentation as directed.
Managing an updating the annual calendar of meetings.
Organise and take minutes for meetings/video calls as required.
Maintenance of electronic document management, filing and administrative systems.
Draft and type letters using agreed templates.
Liaising with members regarding their attendance of the organisation's annual event.
The ideal Governance Administrator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous experience of working in a similar role providing support to Board / Committee members.
Experience of office and business administration
Able to demonstrate high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage competing demands whilst maintaining a calm, measured & professional service
Effective communication skills including written and verbal skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a range of software applications
Experience of working in a membership / representative organisation is desirable
