The ideal candidate will have a background in food/drink/dairy and has managed key accounts and customer relationships for private label accounts.
Role Purpose
- Serve as the primary contact for all matters related to assigned accounts.
- Manage and facilitate business-wide projects related to your accounts.
- Build and sustain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Oversee comprehensive customer account management and maximise profitability.
- Achieve all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements of the Role
- Be present on-site at least 2-3 days per week, with some potential for homeworking.
- Travel as required.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, ensuring the business is their supplier of choice.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Regularly communicate relevant account information to all stakeholders.
Account Management
- Develop individual customer strategies to meet growth expectations in sales, margin, volume, and new product development (NPD).
- Expand customer product penetration in line with company expectations and personal KPIs.
- Maintain and improve margins.
- Conduct market analysis, including competitor products, packaging, unique selling propositions (USPs), and marketing strategies.
- Continuously assess NPD/EPD and provide feedback to the business for growth or stability.
- Attend networking events, trade, and consumer shows to enhance the above responsibilities.
- Become the business "expert," fully understanding and sharing the USPs of the business and its parent company.
Project Management
- Manage all projects related to your customers, acting as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure project plans and actions are structured, communicated, and delivered on time and in full.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to improve project outcomes for both the business and the customer.

Qualifications and Experience
Sales experience, ideally within a contract pack or private label environment.
Project management expermanaging key accounts and customer relationships for private label accounts
Ability to perform well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Excel.
Proven experience working effectively within a team environment
