HR Advisor – Food distribution
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR Advisor to join an established food manufacturer. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the human resources functions. Your role will involve advising and supporting staff on various HR matters, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £28,600 - £35,360 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide advice and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company.
- Policy Implementation: Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and implemented effectively.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations and maintain accurate HR records.
- Reporting: Prepare HR reports and analyse data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
