Job Description: Nursery Deputy Manager
Location: Marlow, Buckinghamshire
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, year-round
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
Manage the acceptance and administration of medication, maintaining thorough and up-to-date care plans for children or staff with health conditions.
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate to each child's age and stage of development.
Promote respect and credibility through effective communication, impartiality, and consistency.
Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and new challenges aimed at achieving outstanding practice.
Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on the EyMan system and on file.
Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.Please note: Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive. Changes and additional duties relevant to this post may be added as required.
Requirements and Skills:
Essential:
Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification.
Over one year's experience in Early Years.
Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
Desirable:
Over one year's experience in a management position.
Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership.
Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding.We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
