As the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:
Develop and execute a Group procurement strategy
Create a centralised procurement team to lead and manage
Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations
Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers
Collaborate with internal st6skeholdfrts to understand procurement needs
Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities
Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in procurement management and experience in a similar role. You should have a track record of success in developing and implementing procurement strategies and a strong understanding of procurement processes. Strong negotiation skills are essential as are strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must also have strong leadership skills and a relevant professional qualification (CIPS or equivalent)
This role offers a competitive salary £50,000 plus car and will involve 1 day a week working at the Head Office near Harrogate
