Seeking an individual interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. This position is responsible for analysing, evaluating and securing commercial opportunities in order to grow the business in line with Company budgets and forecasts. Based in Stalybridge, the successful candidate will be part of a team and report into the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure materials volume at sufficient quality to achieve budget margin.
- Pricing of customer materials based on breakdown and quality.
- Compile data and submit claims for evidence in accordance with AATF status
- Provide strategic and tactical business plan on the Commercial strategy and opportunities for the Region to senior UK management.
- Work proactively with the Operations Manager to deliver the business objectives for the region.
- Liaise with Operations team to ensure stock levels are maintained in accordance with commercial needs.
- Work with Finance on stock control, debt minimization and cost containment.
- Respond promptly to customer needs.
- Maintain, where possible, budgeted gross margins based on reliable information.
- Work and liaise with peers across the business globally.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proven experience interpreting & negotiating contracts with customers & suppliers
- Demonstrable knowledge of the WEEE & Non Ferrous markets
