Work as RMN Deputy Ward Manager within a small mental health hospital in Preston, Lancashire. The Hospital has established an excellent reputation for offering recovery focused treatment for up to 35 service users. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and committed RMN Qualified Deputy Ward Manager for a 12 bed, adult acute nursing unit.
Duties include;
Provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.
Have a degree of clinical experience and leadership that provides expertise and confidence to the nursing team and ward overall.

This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week - 3 shifts one week and 4 the next on a two week rota
The rota available at least 6 weeks in advance.
The role includes weekend working on a rota basis.
The shifts are 7am – 7.30pm
Nights shifts might be needed to work on a rota basis- 20% enhancement
There will be times when cover is needed for the ward manager, this will be Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm (notice will be given)
The salary is negotiable on experience, circa £43,000 - £46,300
You will receive £5000 welcome bonus

Be an RMN Registered Nurse
Have excellent communication skills and previous experience working within a supervisory role
Have previous experience working in an acute mental health setting
Have good computer skills
